CONCEPT

In 2014, I sat down with Mathieu to revamp AKDG's then flash website. It was difficult to manage and did not offer the ability to post articles.

The Website Builders developed a WordPress website in 2014 that still stands today. Within this website were several key points:

  1. The website needed to be easy to manage
  2. There should be a possibility of posting customer references
  3. Accounting services should be clearly highlighted
  4. Customers should be able to access helpful links & downloads through the website
  5. There must be an opportunity to contact them through the website

Currently, we are also busy working on AKDG 2.0. An updated website with a more modern design, which loads faster and can be found even better in search engines.

When I think of websites within accountancy, the words boring, stuffy, as well as the use of many words and little media (images, video) come to mind. An image that we totally did not want to create at AKDG. The website should radiate professionalism in a modern way.

Responsive web design

We then created a WordPress website in 2014 i.c.w. a responsive web design making it optimally viewable on mobile, tablet and computers.

Next, we emphasized showcasing the services and rich portfolio of references that attest to AKDG's great work. We also call this Social proof.

In addition to the Website Builders, AKDG also works with a photographer who photographs the entire team and office at every major change. By incorporating this into the website, (potential) clients get a good picture of the office and the staff, creating a more personal connection.

In addition to developing the WordPress website, we support AKDG in the area of online marketing. We do this in the form of advice and analysis in the areas of SEO, SEA, E-mail marketing and the application of video & YouTube.

We regularly help set up the AKDG newsletter in mailchimp, doing preparatory work on both the website and social. In some cases, we also take care of editing or posting videos.
